Title: TEOSAWKI wing span numbers
Post by: pipemakermike on December 24, 2013, 09:14:03 AM
Now I am well on with building one and this process has prompted me to try to get to the bottom of the wing asymmetry.
Now, according to my numbers, taking into account the actual numbers measured from an actual Clayton built example and assuming that the important dimensions are measured from the actual thrust line,  I believe that the outside wing is actually 1/4" shorter than the inside wing.  Have a look at the drawing below:-

Title: TEOSAWKI wing span numbers - updated

Since finishing my example I have updated the dimensions on the drawing to include the 4mm spacer under the LA46 engine mount that is needed to avoid having the engine poke through the inner cheek.
