No, that was me. A favorite airplane. I run the TD 09's on crankcase pressure off the backplate, Sig Champion 10% nitro, 20 % 50/50 oil, 2 1/2 oz or a little more to get through the pattern. Cox 7 x 3.5 prop. An APC 7 x 3 would probably be fine. 55 -57 ft 012 lines. I lengthened the nose on the Jr Flite Streak to accommodate a tank I had and over did it. Had to add weight to the tail. I'd say lengthen the nose about an inch. Mine balanced 3/8 in front of the CG shown on the plans and flew very well.
Other kits would be the Shark 15, of which I have had two, and the Magician 15. The Sig Acromaster would probably be OK as well.
The TD 09 is a fine engine. Think of it as a small light fairly powerful 15 rather than an overgrown 1/2A. It is more powerful than any of the older 15's like the early Foxes and the various 1950's diesels. I think more powerful than an LA 10, although an FP 10 is comparable, as is a double ball bearing PAW 09 diesel.
