The jet is in Gray and I am starting the trim. Here are a few teaser shots. I kinda like the looks of it.

Or maybe a stunter with a "Stealth" finish! 

That would look great on the ground--might be difficult to see in the air.

 Heck Sparky, I haven't looked since last Wednesday 'cuz I just got back last night from the AMA Superbike National in Elkhart Lake, WI and I figured you'd have her done by now. ;D
 It looks like you're going a cool direction with the scheme. I for one really hope you follow through with a cool '60's-'70's Navy look. Since it's actually a fictitious airplane you could maybe even use "U.S.S. STORICK" along the top sides of the fuse? ;D ;D ;D

Wayne,

While we are debating Carriers, why not a real one,  "Enterprise" or "Coral Sea" would look neat on the side of the plane.  Robert, do it up nice in Squadron Leader Colors!

What's the square inches and projected weight? Looks really good. I've been hooked on the jet look myself for the past year or so. Working on my third one now. Very slick, man, very slick.

I really want to build one with a trike gear, but haven't been able to convince myself that the additional structure and extra weight is worth it.

 You're right, it would be hard to go wrong with any of the carrier names but it would be kind of fun in this case to pretend a bit, we'll see.
 I've always felt that as long as the scheme on a model appears and presents as believable, it will always look great. I just love the military schemes.
 With Sparky's finishing ability, this model has the potential to be SUPER cool.
