Oil content
« on: Today at 06:34:02 AM »
Hi, I have a gallon of fuel that has 20% oil content. How much oil do I add to make it 23 percent? Math ain't my friend.

As an easy rule of thumb, remove 1.3 oz of fuel and add 1.3 oz of oil to increase oil content by 1% per gallon.  In your case remove just under 4 oz of fuel and add 4 oz oil.

5 ounces if you don't remove anything from the gallon.

Here it is.

For one gallon, it shows 4.8 oz of oil and 123.2 oz of 20% oil fuel to boost to 23% total oil.
