Team Trials Help !!

   I am digitizing a three tape series made by Windy from the Walt Brownell Collection. The label just says "Team Trials" and does not say what year. That is what I'm trying to figure out so I can label the videos accordingly. I think it is from the late 1990's. So far, scanning through the first tape I see some old familiar faces  such as Bob Baron, Bob Gieseke, John Davis, Bill Suarez, Warren Tiahrt looks to be the ED,  Paul Walker looks to be flying the Impact, Ted Fancher is flying a beige looking model, I saw David Fitz but could not see much of his model, Mike Pratt is flying his Magnum Force, it looks like, I think I caw the date for the 1998 VSC on the back of the T-shirt Ted is wearing at the weigh in. I hope that have a shot of a score board with a date or at least a year on it. Does anybody have any idea what year this nay have been so I can label the videos accurately?

  Well, I found it. Came across a 10 second stretch of video where Windy got just enough of the edge of the schedule of events! It was late August of 1997. It will be a couple of days before these get uploaded.
    Man, everyone was much younger then!!

I should have checked sooner.  Nov/Dec 97 issue of Stunt News covered the Team Trials in Muncie.  18 entries.

At the 98 World Championships in Kiev, Han Xin Ping, China, won.

Chinese team was first.  USA team was second.

Dondi was 3rd placing Junior of 7, and 33rd overall of 54 competing.

   Thanks Keith! I was afraid that these were go up on YouTube without a date! Thanks to a sliver of video I was able to come up with it, but I should have just messaged you for some help! Lots more to come, still got about 550 tapes to go! I've got an almost complete collection of StuntNews also plus what is on the web site, so that may help if I run into the same thing again.
