I am keenly interested in who is on our next USA Team! Would someone please post the final results?
Many Thanks,

So, Chris Rud, Richard Oliver, and Joe Gilbert are the adults, "Smantha" Hines is the Junior.
-
Congratulations to Chris, Richard, and Joe. Chris is a really good young flier. There are a LOT of "passes." Weather?

Weather, or in one case senility.

Is there any video evidence of the illustrious endevors on U tube .

So what actually happened Howard? I really thought/hoped that you would make the team again. y1

Congrats to Samantha, Chris, Richard and Joe! Sounds like it took some chutzpah to make it through at all let alone make the team. Well earned, you guys...um, er...and gal! y1 y1
Gotta ask; was Joe flying the (in)famous bloated Ringmaster?
At last, a pay day for Richard. Well done. Parlez-vous, Francais, cowboy?
Any pictures of Chris' handle this time 'round? Last one I saw was...unique!
Good on y'all.

Am I correct in thinking that this is the first time in many, many years that the American Team is completely made up of first time Competitors at the Worlds?
Congrat's to all Four! You all came through in what looked like terrible conditions.
Best of luck to all in Eruope!

Well .... it is the first time in a while that all team members are running engines and not motors.
Frank

Chris has been before but this is his first as a Senior competitor, so it still counts ;D

Thanks for sharing that video. I haven't seen it in a long time!!! We will see if the whole team has engines when we land in France ;) it's very possible but not guaranteed.

What plane was that? Motor?

It was a Strega with a RO Jett .65. I think that was its only contest.

Hi Chris:
Didn't you also fly that model at the Team Trials the year before?
Kids! They can't remember a thing... ::)
Later - Bob
I flew the blue one with a RO Jett 61 at the team trials and the red one with a 65 at the worlds. Yes us kids remember a lot. ;)

Hey Bob,
I'm building a Genesis for super 70's...Got any of that Bronze paint left? #^ #^

Hey, he remembered to take his flight box with him when he left the field Saturday. That's better than some people your age.

Well, I think your handle is little bit small, but ... why not VD~
