Tucson circle repaved this week
« on: January 27, 2022, 06:31:41 PM »
The circles at Christopher Columbus Park in Tucson were repaved and repainted this week.  Perfect timing for the Southwest Regionals Feb 5/6 and VSC  March 15-19.

Thanks John Callentine and Lou Wolgast for making it happen.  Funded by Local CL clubs, VSC committee and at least one individual.

John Callentine, Chris McMillin, and I took the first flights on the newly paved circle today

I'll bet that pavement takes a brutal beating in the sun each year. Won't make VSC this year but taking a look at next year. Have fun with it!!

Will the circles be available for practice next Thursday and Friday?

Certainly they are available for practice. These are dedicated CL circles.  Thursday is a popular day.  Folks arrive about 9AM
