n~ I am just finishing two Ringmasters for the Oct. fly in and after looking over this site and the many different size, style of tanks that Brodak supplies I just don't know where to turn!!
I have a Mc Coy 35 Stunt and a Fox 35 for the other plane . I don't know if the same size and style will work but both planes are standard Ringmasters. Please help, I'll be running out of time!!!

4oz should do it.

Assuming these are pretty much just sport flyers for you it really doesn't matter. You likely aren't trying to fly a competition pattern nor are on a time limit. Space is tight there. Use what fits well- 3+ ounces will give you over five minutes.

What Dave says or mount a clunk tank on the inboard side (plenty of room there).

I'm using this 2 ounce Brodak Uniflow on my Fox racing plane, gives me about 38 laps, more then enough for the beginner pattern. It's also made in a 3,4, and 5 ounce size. I think you would like this:

Are you running flat rich? you should be getting like 75 laps from a 2 oz on a fox racer.

yeah I forgot that I only put 1-1/2 ounces in it. 2 ounce tank should be enough for this guy's set up though. Especially for Ringmaster weekend, it's numbers of flights that count, not so much the length of each. Unless he wants to be able to fly the full pattern...

Brodak's BH-597 is a good choice for the Ringmaster. It fits between the back of the engine and the leading edge and the pickup exits the bottom of the tank. This allows for a small length of fuel tubing and a clean straight shot to the spraybar. The tank is 3.5 ounces and is plenty of fly time aside from trying to do the stunt pattern which wouldn't be enough fuel.

Thanks for all the fast reply's!! :D I am ordering two BH 596 tanks at 3oz. , it should keep me going as long as I can go!

RSM Distribution has GRW Stub Nose Uniflow tanks that are designed to fit in tight front ends like the Ringmaster. The GRW400U is only 3.05" long and has 4 oz capacity. All details on every style of tank is available on line at www.rsmdistribution.com

RK,
Eric's stub nose tank fits nice with the pickup out the side and the uniflow out the top. For the Ringmaster you can leave all the plumbing connected and just tip the ship nose down and fuel, I use 3 1/2oz for the OTS pattern. Don't know how many profiles you have built but just for general information, when you mount the tank (any brand) put a 3/16" wedge tapered from the back to the front to kick the tank pickup end to the outside of the circle for clean runs. Use the slotted tank clips (solder to top and bottom of tank, I use two top, one on bottom) from Brodak to mount the tank. For the Fox (likely also for the Mac), line up the tank center line with the first fin up from the glow plug, this give equal engine run upright/inverted (this is a starting point, put the mount bolts/screw in the center of the slot at this alignment, you may have to adjust higher or lower depending on your particular engine, also on the Fox do the stick in the bypass trick to get better profile run).
