TAMPA BAY LINE FLYERS CONTEST

Had a great time this weekend at the Manatee County RC field participating in the Tampa Bay Line FLyers November 2008 C/L Srtunt Contest. First time ever competing in OTS, and flying while reading a crib sheet taped to my wrist. Not many points but at my level fun is often worth more than points anyway.  Thanks for a great job done by Ray Thompson and Phil Bayly in putting the contest on, and all of the flyers who helped make it a great experience.

Thanks guys, it was great having you guys come down. I think our guys had as much fun hosting as everyone else did flying. Even our R/C club guys seemed to get a kick out of the events and didn't seem to mind shutting down while we flew.

Hopefully it will get even better next time as we make more field improvements and add events.
Can't wait to do it again next year!
