Tampa Bay Dome
« on: April 13, 2010, 05:29:28 AM »
First thing that came up on my computor internet was about the base ball game.  The decisions made/rulings about the balls hitting the cat walk.  Wouldn't it be great to be able to use the dome for model plane flying.  I would think there would be room enough for two or three circles.  With silencers it shouldn't be that loud and think of the turbulance we could make.  No worry about wind or rain.  The thing I just thought of is how dark is it without lights?  Just a crazy dream from an old man. n~ n~ n~ :## H^^

Well Doc...having been in that dome many times including during a couple of short power outages there
is room for 3 or 4 circles easily...when the lights went out you can still see...but I would hesitate trying
to do the pattern but it's possible...with the lights on though...what a venue that would be...probably a
little costly though...unless the city might donate it???   LOL. Right.
