What are some of the ways to connect the lead out to belcrank. and prevent them from dropping in the wing when disconnected. HB~> HB~> HB~>

Yellow inner Ny-rod in the wing? ;D

I use line clips just like we use to hook that lines to the leadouts. When I take the wing off I connect the line clips at both ends (the inside and outside of the wing) this forms a continuous loop that cannot drop into the wing. That being said, I have become pretty good at fishing leadouts out of the inside of the wing... HB~>

Of course, you could always stuff foam or cotton in the wing so they wont drop out of sight, then take it out upon re-assembly.

go to a dollar store and buy some of the cheap spring clamps - (you only really need one) after you undo your wing - put the clamps on the leadouts - unhooked from bellcrank - then join the loops together and remove clamps.

Derek YES been there, done that, now do you hook right to the belcrank, or do you add a connector to the belcrank then hook with a clip, or is the lead hook to a belcrank clip.. I think I got that right! ~^ ~^ HB~>

Another simple way. Wire clip with 0.027" wire leadout bound, epoxied etc covered with heat shrink.
