Title: Take apart Bi-Slob?
Post by: Paul Taylor on June 11, 2011, 04:47:14 PM
Today after our club meeting Lou and I put up a few flights before it got too hot. (93 when I left the field at noon)
Anyway it was a good session. Lou gave his old Flite Streak to a RC club member and I think we will see him in the circle very soon. Lou lost this Geo Jr. a few weeks back, but brought out his old profile Challenger and the B-40 sounded sweet. Its a good flying plane. I got a few flights on my Tut2 and tried to get my Nobler in flying order. I think I have a fuel leak.

Oh well, at the end of the session I put up my Bi-Slob. After about the third time of hanging it on the prop, the engine just quit at about 20 ft off the ground. Nose dive and broke the tail off again!
I think I just need to rubber band it on so it will just pop off in a crash, and then just rubber band it back together. LL~

Howdy Paul.  I sure wish I could have been there.  As for the Bi-Slobs...I think it's the circle VD~

Oh you are just saying that because you lost two very good planes on that circle. If you and Mike ever come back over I will cut you a new circle east of the current one. <=

Hi Paul,

Some dowels, strategically placed, and some rubber bands might be the ticket for that Slob stab!

If some parts didn't break loose easily, you have more parts toput back together.   Remember the Cox PT-19 trainer.  Rubber bands to hold it together.   Carry spare rubber bands as some times you can't find them.   H^^
