Is it a muffler, or a small arms component from a former Soviet Bloc country?

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

That muffler came from Michigan. It was made by Big Art.

Hmmm, David J might be correct, I would'a guessed Big Art made it for a S-35.  BTW I will bet that this piece is NOS-30 vintage-authentic!

If it's NOS-30 legal then maybe I shouldn't clean it  LL~ LL~

I hear there's a proposal for N-30 "Patina Points" for next year.

The Patina Points are given for the pilot, not the engine.

Hi Guys,

I had my sample of this muffler out last night.  It has Big Art on the extension and fits in the bolt hole in the web of the exhaust port.  Mine is for early ST .40-.46 with the butterfly in the exhaust port.  Could use two of them myself!! ;D

Hi Bill,
My intention was not to sell the muffler just find out who made it, but
someone has already claimed it if I wanted to let it go, and since he made
me an offer I could not refuse... I let it go. Sorry...
Thank you and God Bless

Not a problem, Walter ;D

I found a "copy" in my box of mufflers, it is not ribbed and all like the Big Art, but fits the old ST G.40 and .46 that don't have muffler ears.
