Do you mean that airplane appears to rotate around the nose? More flap WRT the elevator or move the CG forward. I would try the former first, in *tiny* amounts.
Brett
That's exactly what I meant. I had more flaps before, but then the plane seems to skid or floats a bit through the inside rounds at times. as why I reduced the flaps, and it seems to tracked better. I guess I'll try some nose weight next.
Joe...Is this your new plane? I'm not sure I know what you mean by "turning around the nose".
I've seen planes "climb" through the corners, and I've seen them "skid" through the corners, and I'm trying to figure out which problem you are having. I may be wrong, but it seems like it must be one or the other. If it's skidding, the plane is too heavy and/or the flaps don't move enough. I think this may be what you are describing.
Be aware that you'll probably need to adjust your handle, probably both for spacing and neutral after shortening the elevator control horn setting.

no , It's not my new plane. Just the Saturn.. I've been working on it for a while and got most of the tracking issue sorted out. then noticing this issue after I removed the 1/32" turbulator rod I had on the LE of the stab. (the plane has a blunt flat stab) even though it improved tracking in the round, the tail wants to rotates more for some reason. (most noticeble in 1st corner of Triangle & hourglas) It is of course is manageable, but I just don't think is quite right.

Edit:
I guess I didn't quite answer your question on either climb or skid through the corner. It's probably closer to skid, but its a controllable skid.. like drifting the tail out around the nose if I fly it soft. I'm more interested in getting the nose to rotate a bit, so its closer to the CG on the wing.. then at the nose. (similar to Keith Renacle's similator)
