Title: ????
Post by: Bill Little on January 11, 2008, 01:18:51 PM
I was in the process of replying to a message about an MVVS engine, but it disappeared! ??????????

Here was my reply:
"It looks VERY similar to the small run (21) 5.6 that MVVS did for the Soviet Stunt Team around 1962, or there abouts.  I understand that the 5.6 was based on their "B" speed engine. I have the engine reviews from Aero Modeler from much later when Peter Chinn (??) actually got one of the 21 examples.  Juri Sirotkin won the World Championship with his Spacehound in 1962 using one and a 10-4 prop.  High rpm/low pitch 43 years ago! LL~ LL~

I am guessing yours was an "A" speed engine."

Thanks for the info.

Would you know the performance of this engine comparing to like the ST Goodyear .15, or the Rossi?

Sorry, Joe.  I only researched the 5.6 *Stunt Engine*.
