Just got word from the factory that the T-Rex 600 prototype is on the way.  He he!!!

This is the next smaller version.  It has the same wing footprint as the T-Bird 2.  Made for 40 to 65.  Should be in the low to mid 40 oz range with a 40 or 60.

Looks like Jimmy will be the first contest flight, Joe Gilbert had the first one in the air but hasn't flown it in a contest. I had the first 4 stroke powered one finished last week but haven't flown it yet, too cold and/or windy. Been a weird fall, 20 deg colder than normal...

I don't know if it was its "maiden flight," (I launched it for Brad) but I know it was the first time it was flown at Bob's place in Tulsa last year. The plane made some impressive flights and looked great on the ground and in the air.

Hi All, Last Wednesday Jimmy left several of us fly his T-Rex at the Hampton Roads Coliseum parking lot. This thing is sweet!!!!!!!!!!!! Flys just like you'd love to have all your ships move through your patterns! Huntersville was a real test for this ship in s much s the winds were most unpredictable and add to this the fact that Jim had to fly close to their pine trees, which took the outside wing tip of my OTS ship during my first pattern! Jim overcame this fear and did quite well considering he had longer lines than most! Nice Job Jimmy!

Word on the T REX...sweet flying airplane capable of much more than i did with it (mybad) ,point and shoot,very stable and forgiving in flight.Definatly a 10 on the fun meter!The ST51 pulls it nicely but I can only imagine a saito62 in bobs airplane or the piped version.There's lots more coming soon maybe as p47's since it resembles it so closely in flight.It sure is a pleasure flying with a bunch of stunt junkies! Great contest,great people,the best of times on 2 lines! Jimmy
