brodak 25 on an Oriental

I'm thinking about getting a Brodak 25 for my Oriental.  It's been out for a while now.  Anyone have any experience with one?

Thanks guys.  I'm going to pick one up tomorrow.  It's nice to be only 15 minutes from Charmichaels.  My Oriental weighs 35 Oz. with a Fox 35 on it so the B25 should be good.  I'll let you know how I make out.

If it is any where comparable to an LA 25, that should make a potent combination.  Maybe I will have to put my B-25 on the P-Force.  DOC Holliday

Great combination.  Got 5 or 6 breakin runs before putting it on the Oriental.  Using 52' lines, a 9X5 wooden prop the lap time was 4.3.  Slowed the engine down to about 10K and got 4.7 sec times.  Flew great.  I only got in a couple of flights and still have a little tweaking to do.  The outboard wing was a little high high inverted but managed to get in the full pattern.

Yes, look for the review in Control Line World.  My test bed aircraft is the Ukey 35.  All up weight with the B25 installed is 32 ozs.  Pulls it like it is nothing on 60' lines.  Yes, the 9X5 prop is best for this engine.

Try some 58' lines, I think you will be happy.

Have you guys tried the Top Flite Power Point 10-4 wood prop?  That one lets me get down to 5+ second laps with plenty of pull.  DOC Holliday

I'm running an OS LA .46 in my Oriental. Power seems about right. Dose well in the wind.
