Just attended a swap today in which a fellow modeler called to ask if I was going. I told him I was as I went on line and found the listing in the club newsletter, Shawnee Mission Radio Control Club. The reason he asked was because two brothers had a hobby shop until the people of the buildings made rent too high to stay in business. But they have passed on to a better place and a gentleman had what was left of their stuff to sell. I bought the Top Flite Peacemaker kit that is in extrodinary condition and to me price was right. We had a little talk before I left and I told him if didn't sell all of it to list on Ebay with reserve as the prices of some of the stuff was not negotiable.
But I had a talk on the phone about why didn't some of our fellow fliers not attend the few swap meets we have in the KC area. We both agreed it is more of a social thing to us as web both have been around a while. Also once in a while I find some thing I just can't refuse like this kit. I have kicked my self many for selling the kit I had many years ago. Any way I look forward to the next swap meet in March I believe in KCMo. D>K
I also picked up a Fox .15 Schneurle for a good price and 4 sets of wheels. H^^

For you guys that detest Fox engines, I have run most of them from .15's on up. Only complaint is it takes a long time to break some in. They are the ones that last a long time. By the I paid $10.00 dollars for it and it has a prop on it with good compression. D>K
