Swap meets
« on: March 25, 2008, 02:29:31 PM »
2 good weekends coming up.  Phil Spillman's swap meet up in Sharon this Sunday; I'll be there with Fox stuff as usual.  It is too windy to fly so drive on over!

Toledo the next weekend.  I'll be at the Model Engine Collectors' Ass'n booth off and on all 3 days and the MECA Collecto early Saturday night.

Want to BS aboout Foxes?  Stop by.

And our annual Fall Swap Meet/ Forum is Sunday, November 30th this year.

Why is it that I have seen the same stuff at swap meets for the last 10 years. You would think that they would burn it and move on.

I've pretty much run the Fall Swap Meet for the last 15 or soyears, with a lot of help from a lot of guys....

Several times I have seen folks exiting with huge piles of stuff....I became concerned that theyhadn't sold what they hoped. When asked, they reply "oh, no, I had a GREAT time....sold a TON of stuff!  But I BOUGHT a ton of stuff too!".....

Most simply exchange stuff, I think....
