Title: Survey for Allen Brickhaus's 746-P Buccaneer
Post by: Mike Griffin on June 13, 2011, 04:34:05 PM
This is a survey to find out how many of you all would like to have a laser cut kit of Allen Brickhaus's 746-P Buccaneer.

Allen and I have discussed this extensively and he has graciously given me his consent to kit the 746-P and for those who may not be familiar with the plane, I am posting a few pictures of my own 746-P.

There will be at least 15% changes in the plane as far as upgrades and enhancements to the model through advanced construction techniques.

The model will be laser cut from contest balsa and will feature a built up wing rather than foam.

As far as the engine goes, we will be designing the plane around the new Evolution .60 engine. You of course can use any engine you want that will carry the ship but we are simply recommending the Evolution .60.

I know a few of you have built this model and I think you will agree it is a wonderful stunt or sport ship.

If we have enough people who will commit to this model, I will create a waiting list and place your name on it.

Please let me know if you would want one of these kits.

Wingspan 59"

Wing Area - 650 sq in

Thank you very much

Looks like an economical way to get into a man size stunter.
