Title: Super Tigre V60 markings
Post by: Craig Beswick on March 19, 2021, 01:35:17 AM
I have a Super Tigre V60 with the following engraved on the side of the engine lugs.

"BB60/2"

Does anyone know what this means?

Thanks
Craig

I'll have to check some of mine. That may be some kind of part number?? In working on a few here recently, I have seen the number "BB60/1" stamped on the back of some crank shafts. My first thought was "Ball Bearing 60" and what ever the "1" meant. May be denoting that the "1" goes with "2". We know that all St.60 light case parts from the different vintages of the engine do not interchange.
   Type at you later,

BB60/2 is the old Supertigre part number for the ST .60 crankcase.
