Super Tiger 35 - another one to identify!

Anyone know about this old Tiger?
Interesting that it's ringed.
It has G 21 and a large "V" cast on the bypass port.

Ed is correct. I saw one run once, on a combat model. Made lots of noise, but only went a lap or two per start. Some sort of fuel tank issue; I'm sure it was on CC pressure.  y1 Steve

It's from the Mid fifties. My G21-35 is not ringed. It has front sleeve bearing, rear BB. It has a crankshaft pressure take-off on the bottom of the crankshaft.

Other engine is a G20-15 of the same era. It has two BBs. I think the BBs are plastic.

The first Rat Racer I ever had used this style G-21 35.  Looked brutish, swear you could swim in that venturi!

Ditto on replacing the bearings right off the bat.  The stock bearing had a brass cage with bent over tabs that let go pretty quickly.  Then you had nice little brass shavings all over.  A riveted steel cage bearing fixed the problem nicely.  :)

I remember guys trying that nipple under the crankshaft, so timed pressure.   They wound up plugging it off and going to the back plate pressure using one of the backplate bolt holes. H^^

Fafnir high speed phenolic retainer bearing is what we used for the rear of G21 crank.

Chunks of brass through the top end was never good for brass or engine.
