From what I've read, the Brodak kit "Accentor" is stretched in TMA and maybe NMA. I think I'd buy a good set of Pow Wow plans and compare the two plans before I made any decisions.
On the other hand, legally, you can call it a "Tucker Special" if you have the
cajones, and that's all it takes to make it 'legal'. There is no clause in the rules that allows DQ for modifications. You may take a hit on the fidelity points, if they are used in your area, or appearance points, if they are not. The hit cannot be real serious. Enjoy it, and have fun.
I'd vote for the LA. You won't need more power or weight.
