Title: Super Hawk Finished

Finished after 4 years,built from Aero Modeller plans
from 1984,my version of Bill Draper's, Super Hawk.
Trim scheme is from one of his latter versions.
As shown, minus engine and tank model weighs 35 oz's.

Congratulation.  Job well done. The Red, White and Blue airplanes always look great.

I see that it was published in 1984 but do you know when it was designed? Sure would make a nice "Classic" if before 1970.  y1

Guys, model is set up to take St 46, St 51 or LA 46
will start with the ST 46. Finish is Pro film on wings
elevators and flaps,Rust-oleum on the fus and tailplane
nose has been glassed with .5 oz cloth,tissue and nitrate
as the base.Gary would not make Classic I think it started
life around 1980, not sure.
Bill Draper has done extremely well with this model in England
and its been to a few World Champs.
Wing area 630 sq's.

Letsee....35oz plus 9 or so for the ST .46, and maybe 3  to 5 for tank, spinner & prop...say 50 oz? Should be a killa-dilla. Looks great!  H^^ Steve
