I've been flying, just haven't been competing. It's hard to justify making the trip to contests unless I'm prepared, and lately I just haven't been prepared. Last weekend, neither plane was working well for me. I rebuilt the OS 35 in my Nobler on Friday night, got a few flights on it Saturday morning, and flew it Sunday. The P-Force was running out of fuel after the hour glass up until about Friday too. As it worked out both planes ran longer Sunday, almost to the point of over runs. It turned out to be a really nice day, and we were on the way home by 2pm.
We saw Jim Kraft at the field here in Salina earlier in the week. He said he had a family commitment over the weekend, and wouldn't be able to make it to Topeka.
