:! Guy's when you are making fillets with epoxy (micro baloons) and such and you have the borders taped off how long do you let the mixture cure before you remove the tape, and smoothe out your fillets?
Also do you use a "bare" finger or do you use gloves (nitrile or latex)???
Thanks for your suggestions,

I pull the tape before the fillet is set, actually as soon as I have finished everything but the final finger operation. The tape leaves a little ridge which gets smoothed out with a finger dipped in rubbing alcohol. I use a bare finger and cheap rubbing alcohol because the mixture of alcohol and water seems to work better than either one alone. By the time I have the tools cleaned up and the tape removed it's usually ready for the finger.
Can't imagine using a glove, seems to me it would get in the way unless it was a very tight fit on the finger with no little flappies.. Not sure what they are called but the little finger condoms might be a better deal.

They call them finger cots. I gave my son a box of them when he turned 16 and I gave him "the talk" You should have seen the look on his face.
