Today, at 4:40 pm pacific time, I concluded my first ever full stunt pattern! It wasn’t pretty, in fact it was kind of ugly at points, but my humble little Shoestring did it.

Congrats Gary! #^
WELL DONE! y1
STAY SAFE & "Tight Lines!" H^^

Looks like a fun plane to fly.

With thanks to Paul helping with the trim, it is a fun plane to fly.

Knew I’d get rich and famous some day, still not entirely convinced this is how to do it, but if you say so.... LL~

Now I didn't mention riches. H^^

Congratulations Gary!
Talking with some of our old members
who were there in the 1960's, being able
to fly a complete pattern wasn't as common
as it is now. That's why Pattern Points are
awarded. ( I am told ) .
It is an accomplishment that has become
easier with better equipment and more
knowledge, but doing it with a Ringmaster
puts you back to "The Good Old days".
Take a bow ! y1
Cheers! - K.

Thanks. Yeah, it’s not a perfect pattern ship, but this is what I built two of them to do, to get this pattern under my belt. Hard to tell from the picture, but not a Ringmaster. Slightly freelanced Shoestring, actually. Squared off hollow block wingtips, extra 3/4” ahead of, and 1.5” aft of the wing. 10% more H stab/elevator area. OS 20FP for power. 26oz all up.
