Did you check the SSW site?  There is also Tom Dixon.  But, you don't state where your plans came from.  DOC Holliday

Nor is the SIZE of the Stiletto that is being discussed.  Three versions that I can think of off the top of my head. ;D

HI Bill  is correct  we need to know what version you are building??? I know of at least 5 differant size Stilettos

The Stiletto is not at all a complicated plane to build, I am sure we can get you whatever info you will need

I would have to look to see where the plans came from but I wouldn't like anything bigger than a 60 size ship. Are there 3 different sizes?

Hi Terry, I've got two different sets of prints for the Stiletto. One is the 660 version and the 585 version. The 660 print shows the root and tip ribs, so you can make a set of ribs. My 585 print is the Dick Mathis print and doesn't show the root and tip rib, so I use my cad program to size all the ribs. The Stiletto Plane is a great flyer and a beautiful plane on the ground and in the air. I placed the canopy and little farther back to make mine a little different and I just love her. Good luck and Randy is correct the Stiletto is a lot easier to build than a lot of the older style models, Gary

HI Terry

The only Stiletto  that could use a 60 is the  700 that Les built  , I am positive you do not have that one.
I would think you either have the 660 or the  smaller  580 version, what is the wing span of the plan  you have?
And what size ship do you want to build?  motor?

Hi Randy, is there a print of the Stiletto with an Ares style wing? I have seen a few done this way and they look great. Didn't Les design one using that type wing also? If there a print of this type wing style, do you have one that can be purchased? I designed my Stiletto to accommodate my merco engines, I have the 49 and 61, which have the same case. I can change from one engine to the other without making any changes. The Stiletto doesn't need that much power but its nice to have it. I believe Phil is using a pa 76 in his Stiletto and his flys great. Thank you for your time, Gary

HI Gary

There  are  Stilettos that used an I Beam wing but of course  never an Ares wing, they were larger, There is no plans for them, The plan you have, is most likely the 660  version  you can use  the Merco 49 in it
