Stunt Proposals
« on: September 05, 2009, 10:52:59 AM »
I just came from the AMA site and so far only Speed, Scale and Navy Carrier have proposals listed to be looked at.  Nothing for stunt yet.  Well there is one in General that could pertain to stunt.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday

I "hear" that there is a proposal to move the CL part of the NAT's to the same week as Oskosh (I think that makes it at or near the end of July. That would, if I understood correctly, put it at the same time as scale (and CL scale of course).

Just curious, since this might matter to a lot of people.

I think Doc was referring to rules changes, but that would be interesting to some folks.  D>K Steve

It'd be interesting to me since if we decided to go to the Nats next year, which is a .01 % chance, I'd be a senior.

You're right, but I did realize that was the point of his post. However I had heard that there was a proposal to move the main CL competition to another date, I was curious if he had any info on that too.

Maybe it is known already to most people who actually compete in the NATs.

I think they bring that up every year during the NATS organizing meeting.  Brenda usually lets me know if there are big changes.  But, don't hold your breath as what has been working will usually be kept.  I don't know if any other RC is going on at that period of time or not.  It would be great to have all of control line together again.  A lot depends on what the SIG's have to say, like PAMPA, MACA, NCLRS, NASS and NCS.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday

In the General section of proposals,  GES 11-2,  pertains to the score boards and scores.  Keeping them where the judges have no chance to see them or the judges even looking at them.  You need to go check the others also.  It is not that hard even for a lazy person like me.  DOC Holliday

You can look at all of the Rules Change Proposals by going to the AMA web site:
Select tab "Member Services"
Select "Publications"
Select "Competition Regulations"
Select "+ Rules Proposals"

Then you can open and read or download a copy of any of the proposals.
