Another no-fly no build weekend, and the brain ferments...

STUNT PILOT BLUES

Got dem stunt pilot blues baby,
Don't know which way is up or down.
Yeah dem stunt pilot blues baby,
shapes & sizes, squares & rounds.
Got dem stunt pilot blues baby,
just can't bring those bottoms down


I went to the contest
Gonna be a P A STAR
Judge watched me fly, then he sighed,
and said, "Go buy a J-R!"
Got dem stunt pilot blues baby,
This aint no way to go a-round


I started the Wingover,
then I did the Reverse
I asked my judge, what he saw.
He said, "Man your 'plane is CURSED!"
Got dem stunt pilot blues baby,
Don't know which way is up or down.


Did a round loop,
then did 2 & 3,
Ask the judge, why his score don't budge
He said "These points don't come FREE!"
Got dem stunt pilot blues baby,
just can't make those round things round.


Did some square loops
and the triangles too
Judge said the lines, they weren't fine
and corners - they sucked too!
Got dem stunt pilot blues baby,
just can't bring those bottoms down


Going all through the pattern
Did all them 8's
Judge is bored, from what he scored,
He don't think they're so great!
Got dem stunt pilot blues baby,
shapes & sizes, squares & rounds.


All that left is the 4-leaf
I thought it looked real fine.
Checked the judge, he's in a rush
to get some Boones Farm wine!
Got dem stunt pilot blues baby,
This aint no way to go a-round


It seemed this contest,
just a waste of my time.
But I'll be back, I aint no hack,
and next week that judge is MINE!
No more stunt pilot blues baby,
when I get to another town!!!

I've palyed electric blues guitar in clubs. Met and talked to the late-great Albert King. I like "them blues" of yours alot.
