In the Directors report is a picture of Lou Wolgast's Penstar . Does anyone know what engine is in the plane?
Thanks , John

Yes it's an "Unobtanium" Double Star 75. No you can't buy one at any price! It runs in a very deep four stroke and is very powerful but in my opinion a bit cantankerous! Lou may disagree! The Pentastar is a great airplane based on "Werwage GeoXL" aerodynamics.
I'm providing this info because Lou doesn't visit the Forums...Lou is a great builder and finisher as well as a real true Gentleman!

And, needless to say, one heck of a good stunt flyer!

Here are some shots of the Double Star 76 in Lou's Pentastar.
Note dual glow plugs and nicely enclosed rear exhaust muffler.
He dominated this past weekend at the Marschinke Contest in Tucson

What caught my interest was the twin plugs. ( Double Plug .75) " joke"
