;D  Gentlemen and ladies, allow me to extend my thanks, appreciation and congratulations to the team that hosted this event.  As a competitor, I was very impressed with the smooth running of the event.  Granted there may have been some complaints and or issues for those who are more experienced or vested in competitions but for my thoughts and impressions the event was "swell" and I had a great time.  Regrettably, I didn't take any photos to share but I was able to renew some acquaintances, watch and learn from a whole range of far more skilled pilots and bask in a truly beautiful day.  The weather, to me it was excellent; about 80 - 82 degrees with a fairly steady 5-10 mph breeze out of the ENE (for the most part).  To the entire contest management team and supporters, again I say "Thank You for a wonderful event".   :) ;D ;D

I totally agree with Jim Carter. If you missed this contest, you missed a good one. Facility was excellent, the organizational people were very hospitable and accommodating.  The field was perfect, the wind was ideal, and there was a whole bunch of nice people I met for the first time. Sometimes we take for granted the people who work quietly behind the scenes to make a contest work.  Those who judge make a huge sacrifice to do so, so we as competitors can have fun.  Hats off to all of you. See you next year !

Charles,

I’m not telling S?P. You are going to have to wait until Jim Smith releases the info.

He is expecting to release pictures and comments.  I will tell you this. All the expert entries were
excellent flyers, and scores were very close and when they are that close, I feel we were all winners.
Now THAT’S A CONTEST. H^^

Wayne and I will post more info later . . . we both still are working, so things are a bit slow to get together. I did process some photos and have made them available on One Drive (the cloud).

Here is the link:

Just copy and paste it into your browser window. When it opens, click on the first image AFTER the cover photo. Nothing happens if you click on the Cover Photo.

Once you click on the first photo (Joe Llanos with his beautiful orange and blue All American Senior) - look up towards your browser bar and you should see a link to "Play Slide Show". You can click this button for a slide show. You can also click on any photo and then click download if you prefer.

Was a great time and beautiful weather - thanks to all who attended. Will continue to post more photos if I get more.

Bad Link - leave it to Microsoft to make things difficult - the link I sent apparently does not work correctly. Here is a link that should work for everyone:
