Title: Stunt Hangar rc
Post by: RC Storick on December 30, 2014, 08:53:15 AM
I gave it a year to get going and because i know nothing of RC I could not give it any input. So before there is any whining I will let you know its gone. I will continue on my efforts to make this site and control line craftsman grow. Bob Hunt ans built a electric fuse for the RD1SH and has sent it over to Bob Kruger for drawing and as soon as I get those plans we will start our project. Please bare with me with my did sick I have lost a little steam.

Thank you everyone for the prayers and kind note I have received. I am kind of down in the dumps. My friend Gary Hajek offerd me a gallon of thinner to paint my Shoestring as I have no funds just so I could keep my mind busy.

Sorry to hear that Robert.
I started a thread and posted in it frequently while I was building. But This past year has been a struggle just to have a roof, so that curtailed the building and thus the posting.

Sparky, remember family comes first no matter what.   I am glad you have someone to help you keep from worrying about your Dad too much.   As far as the RC side I had forgotten about it as I quit RC some time ago.  So lets HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

No loss with no R/C here Sparky, and I would actually consider it a bonus with one less site issue for you to worry about maintaining. My two cents says to just focus on C/L, after all, that's what we're really here for.

Hope your dad is making some progress too, you both take care. H^^

You've done a fine job with the website/forum.  I have no interest in R/C and it seems that there are plenty of places full of info for that part of Modelling. Just take care of your Dad and yourself.
You are in our prayers,
Steve Thornton

Bob, family is priority and so I understand.

Your website with CL is an active community of contributors and friends, and a more worthy cause to maintain. RC already has alot of sites such as RC Groups and RC Universe, where many in the RC community hang out. CL community isn't as strong there as it is here. So I can understand letting a venture that didn't succeed die. Those with the CL community here can occasionally put plugs in to those RC forums in the CL categories to point people here as good free advertisement.

Regarding your father, hope he is getting better, will pray for him. "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." James 5:16 [WEB]. Encourage those of the faith to do the same, too.
