2018 Fly In will start on Monday June 11 and End on Saturday June 16.

A few changes this year with Paul Smith's Racing events , and a additional Fun Carrier event .

Basic flight will now be on Friday after First Round of PA .

The 2017 Sharing of Models rule has been eliminated for 2018.

Pilots Choice award for PA ( 3 Awards )

Old rules did not allow sharing models in the same event .

In 2018 it is OK to share a model in Profile, Classic, N30 and OTS. In PA Advanced and Expert , you can share, but only the builder of the model will get appearance points .

Has anyone stayed at the Rt 21 diner & motel? it's listed on the Brodak flyer and seems to be the closest place to stay.

After NOT having missed any of the first 20 I missed last year due to heart trouble! Dang the luck! BUT Sondra and I will be there this year assuming nothing breaks down in my then 80 year old bod! If needed I plan to Judge once again if wanted!

Mike,

i need to run a few ideas by Will and Mark. In my opinion this event needs new ideas...it was very hard to keep folks interested in doing and or watching this event in its current configuration last year. It is a great event but it has become a "little been there done that"

My ideas are more centered around the flying portions i.e. balloon bust competition etc. Something that would be fun to do and fun to watch.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in June, the Brodak web site had been updated with 2018 Fly in information . Look closely at the events you will compete in , there are a few changes , but most are the same schedule as 2017 .

Samuel and I decided to attend Brodaks over Joe Nall. We'd really like to do Joe Nall one year but the timing is bad for Sam, I'd have to pull him out of school. Will Davis I have booked a room at the Fairfield so Sam and Kyle can hang out again.
