Looks like Stuka Stunt forums is down. Leonard posted the other day that he had been dealing with some kind of bot infection, and maybe he had to shut it down ti deal with it. Anyone heard from Leonard or Matt to know what the status is?
The weather here in STL is warming up today and winds supposed to die down, I'm heading to Buder Park!!

Dan,
Enjoy your good weather. It's headed our way tomorrow, though the warm front did cause some sleet/rain today. Who knows, some day I may decide to retire, taking off Monday.
To your original point, Stuka Stunt is a treasure trove of useful info, and we hope it is restored to GWO.

Had planned to fly Monday but the forecast of snow changed my plans to clearcoating the trim edges. Jim Lee, in the spirit of Hank Stram " Go Chiefs"

Well, flying wasn't as good as it could have been because the wind blew quite a bit, but I got a few flights in, and helped a new guy with some engine runs one some new airplanes. It was nice and sunny, and just good to get out of the house for a few hours, and my wife even asked to go a long with me!
And as some one who lives in a city where two football team owners and the NFL have screwed us over twice, I have not paid much attention to football, but the Super Bowl did go the way I wanted it to tonight! Way to go Chiefs! When you think about it, they got two whole states worth of fans cheering them on, Kansas and Missouri! And who knows how many more. It was a good game for the whole four quarters for change also. So congrats to Andy reed and the whole Chiefs organization!
Now, back to hockey, get the Blues back on track and win a second consecutive Stanley Cup!!

Just tried Stuka Stunt and it would not come up. Computer say site does not exist or is shut down. I too tried to go flying this afternoon after Church and dinner , but engines would not co-operate. Pictures and excuse is posted under "Why". D>K

Well I one link that brings up the Stuka Stunt site, but when I go to the forum link the computer says it does no exist. D>K

There other sites for plans and such still works but the forum is down . I do not even have a link to it anymore. Nothing new there just people asking the same question on both sites or adds from suppliers on both sites. Sorry to say but there is no new content there.

There hasn't been much activity recently, but the archives were quite large, and tons of information and posts by many that are no longer with us, and had that had passed on before Stunthanger came into being. It was kind of neat to search there and read stuff by those that have passed on, and the ones I knew personally, it was like I could hear their voice. Most people type like they talk, and I think that proves it. I hope Leonard is just working on eliminating the problem and that they will be back. You can't have too many C/L stunt web sites!

I couldn't reach the forum but I did enjoy reading the "Jaybee at the Handle" poems.
-
Every thing I looked at on the main Stuka Stunt site works except the forum. All that info looks like it is gone. D>K
-
I hope the archives are not lost. They are incredible.
-
I know it has already been pointed out but the amount of knowledge that was stored in the archives is irreplaceable. It was like a library for Control Line. I pray it is not lost.

The only thing not working is the forum. All the stuff that I think is important is still accessible. D>K

I am still getting this message (2/9/20):
The www.clstunt.com page isn’t working
www.clstunt.com is currently unable to handle this request.
Has anyone heard anything? I can get the main page, but wonder whether it is tended.

Leonard says there was damage to Stuka forum, he is hoping to fix it and return the forum.

We have been attacked a few times here. You would think those guys would have something better to do than attack a site that helps people.
-
Well there are those brainless turds that enjoy destroying stuff as they know if caught nothing will be done. If they had their equipment confiscated and hands cut off the next person might think first. Of course you have to have a brain to think though. D>K

It's the same sort of idiot that defaces public property, and tear up the grass at flying sites. They do it because they think they can get away with it, it's just juvenile bullshit for the most part. They don't have any real purpose to it, just random destruction.

Are there any updates on the Stuka forum? Is it....dead? And if so, mostly dead or all dead?

I am curious how some guys can access the files...all I get is This page isn’t working
-
The main www.clstunt.com (http://www.clstunt.com) site is up & running. The forum, though, I think is dead. I keep getting HTTP ERROR 500 (unable to handle request) when I try the forum itself. I'm asking because I know some on here have contacts that may know what's up.

Thought I would add to this thread rather than start a new one, since the previous comment is relevant.
Now there is a message saying site suspended.
