Strato Cat C/L Model
« on: December 16, 2006, 06:48:59 PM »
OK all you old timers, Who remembers a C/model from the 40's or 50's called the Strato Cat? It sounds like a trainer4 of some sort to me. A customer at the hobby shop I work part time at asked me if i had ever seen plans for this plane. I don't know if it was a published design or a kit. I havenb't had much time to research it, but I thought I would post the question and test everyones memories!
  Thanks a lot in advance.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Dan.
I do not think the Strato Cat that I have is the one that you are thinking of.
It kit was made back in the late 1940’s. The fuselage is carved from balsa blocks.
The Strato Cat reminds me of something like the old Fire Ball.
