Title: Stranded .010" Lines?
Post by: Dennis Leonhardi on August 11, 2009, 09:31:55 AM
I've been using .008" stranded lines for 1/2-A models for years and years, but they're awfully delicate.  Going to .012" is a very big jump in terms of weight and drag.  Are .010s available anywhere?

McMaster-Carr has .009's, Not much difference - http://www.mcmaster.com/#8930t16/=358wph

I'm not aware of any .010 cable lines. Oops! I yield to Bob's superior scrounging abilities . . .

I had some trouble finding the .010" wire, or a way to search for it.  I'd never seen any before...and I really don't know what I'd need it for ('cause I'm not a fan of 1/2a engines).   D>K Steve

This might make it easier, if it works:   http://66.187.129.130/sava/precision.pdf (http://66.187.129.130/sava/precision.pdf)
