Hey Guy's
I've been working on a couple of Stiletto Hybrids and getting close to starting the finishing process on Stiletto#1 Power on this one will be OS 46VF with Randy Smith pipe It's going to be in the 60-63 oz range for weight, I really tried to keep this one as light as possible, but I just cant justify spending outrageous prices for 4-5 lb wood. Not to mention the VF's are not a "Light" Motor. That being said it's still going to be much lighter that the last Hybrid I built and competed with in 08-09. I have started some building on Stiletto #2 which will be similar, but with a few addition mods, and hopefully lighter.

Great looking plane, and IC! Keep us posted. y1

Love the scoops. In fact I love the whole plane. Are the scoops functional to cool the pipe?

That's beautiful work.

Looks fantastic! The larger canopy looks better than the original small one.

Good job! I was afraid it would use both IC and electric power, being a Hybrid and all. :P Steve

Phil keeps me apprised and in the loop with all his projects and I truly appreciate it.
Like all his stuff these are interesting planes and I'm pretty sure Phil has built more Stilettos than anyone. That's my guess anyway simply because he tunes me into all of them!
He simply works with my styling theme and engineers the rest from there. His structures seem to be traditional but also unique. His connecting with me is purely, I believe, out of respect. I contribute zero to his effort but get much enjoyment seeing his work.
