Jose's Kit
« on: November 16, 2011, 02:46:23 PM »
I posted a simple question to Jose in the now locked BOM thread.  I asked the price of the kit shown in his pictures.  He never responded.  Strange that he declined to quote a price on a product he is desperately trying to obtain approval and a market for.  Could be the old adage..."If you have to ask, you can't afford it."

Dick P. I dint respond as I'm working with the foam suppliers and trying to determin if the foam components can be sheeted. The sheeted foam components with the glass cloth epoxy outer surface is a better product.
see photos of fuse and foam wing panel vacummed bagged with glasscloth in mylar folder.
Typical pricing for an SV22 model as follows
foam pieces are by Randy Smith and Bob Hunt
foam wing $55.00
stab and elev $22.00
Bob Hunt Foam Flaps sheeted $30.00
composite wood fuse with formers and engine crutch $75.00
sub total $182.00  + shipping
NOTE wing, stab and elevator foam only  Flaps sheeted.
Dick with this fuse you can use any wing and stab. The fuse engine centerline is the only one that is fixed. You can draw what ever configuration (model you want IE: impact Saturn SV etc.) Same for the SV22 fuse and the saturn.
Note if you like the fuse outline of the impact but would like an SV model simply draw the engine wing and stab center lines on the fuse side and you can create any model.

Wyn that's a cheap shot  I specifically did not take any money from you or anyone. Yes the market is there for the international community. But here in the states with the largest modeling comunity,we are trying to decide what can be manufactured for Competition. My development was stopped during this time.
Wynn as you type your words I'm here completing the take apart SV22. MY INTENTION WAS TO SEND YOU THE MODEL FOR TESTING, EVALUATION AND YOUR USE  AT NO COST TO YOU. My commitment and responsibility was to give you the model again AT NO COST  with me gifting the material cost and the labor. YOU heard the add "if the pitzza does not arrive in 20 min is free.

PS as your emails to me showed, you had an opportunity to purchase a Yatsenko Classic  and was going to use the funds for my model to purchase the Classic. I fully encouraged you to purchase the model that you were going to convert to electric.
By that action you camcelled your order with me.
But i still had a commitment to you. Thus my completion of the take apart SV22
THESE MODELS ARE NOT FOR SALE

Reasonably priced, much less than what I imagined.  Certainly within the budget of most serious fliers.  Thank you for your reply.

I purchased the Yatsenko after waiting over 4 months for you to get back to me -

Didnt mean it to be  cheap shot - just highly dissapointed in the fact that I never got anything - I REALLY WANT ONE!!!! and if you offer this to me - I will send you money for it. - I would not expect anything for free.

in fairness to you - I have deleted the other post.   - I gather you can understand my frustration.
