I put two flights on it yesterday (Tues.) and it flew great. Have a few things to tweak, I would have done it there but it was a long day and I was tired. I will take it out again today and put it to the real test, the pattern. All for now.
Blessings

Believe me I am drooling over the keyboard too!

#^ #^ #^ The final pictures were sent to Walter and he will be posting them I'm sure. BUT, I'm going to beat him to the punch, here's one.
It now has 6 flights and the two today were very good. It done the pattern pretty good, still have some tweaking to do yet, but the airplane has promise, feels a lot like my big PAMPA ship. dooooo, 660 Sq's.
I will be writing some building notes for Walter in the coming days. It was a great build, and all those looking to order one hope you have as much fun building yours as I did this one.
Charles, the graphics went on just fine and it matches the pictures I had to work with, great job. I personally will be having you to do all my mask's and vinyl lettering.
Tired, going to the shower, by.
Blessings

okay guys and gals here it is all finished and test flown.
I will let Allen answer any of the questions about the building and flying results.
He will try to get us a R.T.F. weight on it as soon as he gets over to his friends house that has a scale.
We hope you guys like it and we are now accepting orders for a Christmas time release.
please visit the vendors section for more details.

Final post by me.
The Stiletto came in at 54 oz. trimmed and ready to fly, (I could shave 1 1/2 oz off by using a tough muffler, and more by using a lighter engine, say LA .46).
I now have 15 flights on it and it truly flies like a big bird. If you fly profile at contests or for fun, and don't want to scratch build your own, you might give this kit a chance. I had approximately 25 hours in the construction and painting. It will be my profile for many years to come. Great kit Walter. #^

Looks great Allen. I wondered about an LA 46 for that airplane. I know its big but I think my LA would pull a much bigger plane than my Cardinal.

Very, very nice Walter and Allen.

*UPDATE*
The current RTF weight is 54 oz. on the Stiletto profile prototype

I have always admired this plane since Les was flying one similar back in the mid 70s. Now how do I get a kit? I have a Avastar .46 that I think will power one of these very nicely.

D>K I went out Saturday and got some more flights in. Trimming this time was longer lines, went from 60' to 63' , and changed props from a 11X4.5 to a 11X6. Lap times came in at 5.45 and all the changes helped. The corners were nice and sharp and the rounds very smooth, line tension was good in all spots, overhead eight and the hourglass. One more change, going to go from the metal 5 oz. tank to a plastic 6 oz. tank and I'll set it up just like the ones in my Petra. I know there is more in this airplane than I've seen so far, more trimming down the road, maybe today or tomorrow, our weather is about to go into the 40's and 50's and flying season will change to building season.
Blessings
Allen
