Title: Stiletto 660 Profile
Post by: Norm Faith Jr. on December 21, 2011, 10:56:31 PM
I got my 660 Stiletto Profile Kit yesterday. The shop manager (my son) had put it on the break table in the hangar. "There's a model in there?" He asked. "The box feels empty." I picked up the box and was shocked at how light it was. I had to open it right away to see if in fact that there was something in it. I've been told, by reliable sources, that Walter Umland puts out quality kits; a quick look in the box confirms this as a "fact." This is my first "laser kit" and I can't wait to get started. "Well done Walter; well done."

I talked with Roger Wildman last night and he said he got his Stiletto yesterday. "Walter, great job on this kit, I'll have it ready for this coming years contest".

Blessings

Received my kit on Christmas eve and you have done it again Walter. Your kits are beautiful. A real work of art. This one gets started on Monday. Thanks for the great work.   Dave

I have to ask this question.  How come you guys don't build real models
instead of cartoon profiles? Takes the same amount of time and looks
way better. I'm just askin'......

My guess would be is that they liked what they saw and they bought it. What floats one mans boat will sink another's. Something for everybody.

I have Walters Stiletto, the full bodied one, and seen the profile and couldnt resist having it too. They are both beautiful airplanes to me.

Hi Bob, My 660 will (when  done) become my "competition plane" for the numerous profile events that I compete in. District VIII has a perpetual trophy for the profile points champion of the year. I flew the same "modified Twister" for close to seven years, until the wings folded up in Catoosa. I've been currently flying a profile of my own design. I've designed and built my two current "full bodied" PA ships and have the plans for the full body Stiletto. The 660 Profile will accomplish two goals...Profile events, and foresee pit falls to building and flying the full body Stiletto. Besides; it is just a "down right fine looking profile" model. H^^
