Magic Eraser
« on: July 27, 2006, 07:46:47 PM »
A while back, I remember reading that someone used Magic Erasers for cleaning up trim paint edges. Can't for the life of me find this info anywhere. I am just finishing up a new plane, my wife just came home with a couple,  and I would like to try this, but can't remember how it was done. Do you use water with the Magic Eraser? Any body remember this? Thank You; Jim Kraft

Hey Jim,
That would be Phil Granderson, the new CL Aerobatics columnist in the July 06 MA mag,  page 137.I don't think he describes a procedure for tape lines specifically, and wether or not he uses water, he just says use as directed.I guess whatever it says on the pack. Phil really is a master at building, I highly recommend his column!
Good luck!

Just use water. Phil introduced this to me when I went up to his house to paint my clear on the latest airplane, and it's very very useful.

Phil knows more about modeling that most of us will ever know. And, he knows *everybody*.

Hey; Thanks you guys. I remember now that it was in MA. I have looked at Phil's handy work, and it is among the best. I don't have the patience to do the kind of masking that he does. Really works of art. Thanks again: Jim Kraft
