Title: Steve Buso Bobcat design
Post by: Mike Bush on August 16, 2019, 04:47:38 PM
A few years ago I saw pictures of Steve Buso's Bobcat design. I searched around and couldn't find any specs on it other than it was a smaller modern plane designed for a Fox 35. I found contact info for Steve and spoke with him and ordered a set of Bobcat plans. To me it is somewhat similar in looks to the Russian KA8-10 series of planes. I thought I would post the specs for others to see if a smaller modern plane is of interest. If you search around you can find pics of it or maybe someone will post some pictures of it.

Overall length 39 1/4"
Nose moment 8 1/2"
Tail Moment 15"
Wing Span 49 1/2 equal panels
Wing area 464 sq.in
Flaps 69 sq.in/15% of wing
Stab area 57.0 sq.in
Elevator 54.0 sq.in
101 sq.in total 21.76% of wing
