Title: Stepping down
Post by: john e. holliday on February 10, 2016, 12:50:47 PM
For the last several years I have tried to get an individual to say he would take my place, but he was not too sure about it.   This past year I got an E-Mail asking if I would give up the position on the control line contest aerobatics rules board.   Thanks to Keith Trostle relocating to Denver CO and wanting to keep the chairmanship position I gladly said okay.  If he had been present I would have hugged him.   Just checked the AMA site and it is now official.  Now I don't have to beg for imput from District IX members on the rules proposals.   It has been fun I must say.   Now take it easy on the youngster and have fun.     Thank you again Keith.     DOC Holliday.

Hi Doc,

While I am not in Dist.IX, I still want to thank you for your service!  I know these positions are really just a service to the members and your only satisfaction is usually feeling good that you did the best job you could!
Thanks, Buddy!
