It reminds me a bit of a lumber yard I remember as a kid that had a line shaft running the length of the building up in the rafters with flat belt drives to the machines below.  The line shaft was driven by an electric motor though…

Where's OSHA when we need some safety guards on the machinery to make it useless? Guess why folks that use drugs in factories don't last very long there? Guess why the dog's tail is shorter than stock?  LL~ Steve

A Few questions -

Is that boiler certifed?
If so, when was the last time it was inspected?
Machine belt guards?
That "Lady's" hair is an OSHA violation in itself...
Housekeeping? Obviously None...

These guys look like the offspring of all the Commune Hippies from the 60's. (Notice the Black CA plates on the Chevy)

Was anybody else shocked by the digital temperature readouts on the burning plates. It was interesting that the burning plates were made of magnesium...and I don't know why it would be suitable stuff. Can anybody 'splain that?  D>K Steve

Thanks for posting that, it is truly incredible. I love machines, but I'd sure hate to be the chief oiler, that has to be the second most dangerous job in the place.

I believe that because it is located on private property and operated by family (employees) members...OSHA doesn't have much jurisdiction.  ???

The first time I saw this video several years ago, they stated how the dog lost part of his tail.   You notice he doesn't get close now.
