Status report - Larry Cunningham's projects
« on: November 24, 2012, 09:09:49 PM »
A small group of close associates who had been following Larry Cunningham's work on his Mo'Best and other projects is currently going through all of Larry's relevant computer files (AutoCAD, CorelDraw and SolidWorks, mostly but some Microsoft Word documents also). The goal of the group is finalizing some of the commercial and community projects and designs Larry was working on at the time of his death, including corrections to the popular Mo'Best plans available from PAMPA.

Larry liked to pursue parallel paths, each path incorporating some feature he deemed desirable into an incomplete set of possible production files that served mostly as notes to himself. The job that the group is working through consists of chasing down those blind alleys to determine whether that particular 'feature' is indeed desirable and workable, and should then be included in updates. The job is further complicated by Larry having separate sets of files for different members of the 'Mo family' of planes. Larry knew exactly what went with which; we, however, are assembling a gazillion piece puzzle.

This is an all volunteer effort and the participants have a lot of other things going on. It is not yet possible to say when the task will be completed, but we hope for early to mid 2013. Stay tuned.
