Started Off The New Year Flying!

Got in a few warm-up laps in sunny Tulip Arkansas today. The ole mercury bumped 50*  Should be more of the same tomorrow, And I just finished the "old wreck" tonight, gonna try her out in the mornin. It's a blue moon tonight, by the way....anybody see it?

We used to have one of those, but we killed it[cut too many limbs off] anyway, those trees are actually a good 20' back.

Had to look twice at the picture.  Single digit temps kept me in.  Must be getting old as I remember son and I going to Topeka KS one year for New Years Day fly in.  We had to shovel snow off the circle for take off pad.  Jim Lee doing inverted laps and throwing snow up on other side of circle.  I think it was two or three inches between prop marks in the snow.  Also the other guys must be getting there as there used to be over a dozen of us out.
