Way to go BOB...Yee Haa......A 587.5 is really a smokin score. You really burned in a good pattern.

Thanks guys for the good words. I think I am almost back to where I was when I left off 15 years ago y1. The 12 year layoff didn't do me much good HB~>.

There were many good flights and they had me thinking. It was a fun contest.  P.S. The haircut is the wind blown look.. LL~

Congrats Bob!

I hope someday I can go to another St Louis contest.

Wow.. the judges were generous.. very high scores... but as long as they are consistant it is OK.

Yes the scores were high. However I asked a few people was my flight the best of the day and they replied yes. So I was happy.

I got 40ty's for take off and inverted flight but how many mistakes can be made in the easiest maneuvers?

Yep,
After his flight I told Bob he'd flown the best pattern I'd seen him fly in competition all year. He deserved his 1st place award. Congratulations Bob  CLP**.
