Leonard has been warning his "regulars" for the past week or  so that SS was going to be down yesterday (I think) for a couple of hours for new software installation.  Sounds like he has the same kind of "2-hour" installs I do.  Murphy's Law, Electronic Version: a couple of hours always ends up being 8 or 10 (or 24).

Len, you have my sympathy!

Bill;

Actually, we did the software upgrade last Thursday.  We are still working out a few kinks, but we only had the system off line for a total of 72 minutes.

As for today, it was an issue with the site that supports SSW.  They had a problem with the server and took it down immediately rather than risk losing data.  It was down for a  couple of hours, and was back again by mid afternoon.

Sorry if it caused you any inconvenience.

Well, Bob the plus side is that you know people miss you when you are gone.

Bob please tell Len about how I let people express their concerns about SSW and I also let them link to SSW from this site. On the other hand you can't even mention Stunt Hangar on Lens site. All the Forums have there place and there is enough people to around. Kinda like BAR hoping.

No inconvenience at all, Bob.  Len handled it well by keeping everybody informed.  Sorry if I painted the picture with broad brush strokes.  I was just responding to inquiries on this board.  I am always delighted when things work out well.  I have been messing with these computer things for nearly 30 years now.  Few installs go smoothly.  Glad yours is coming out so well.  The program is very nice and easy to navigate.  Congratulations to you all for a job well done.
