Title: Springfield, MO fun fly

I have had a couple of guys ask if we are going to have another fun fly in Springfield.  If I can get enough flyer's committed to come we will have one early in October, best guess would be the first or second weekend.  We have a nice circle only a few years old with good support from the city.  Also, Steve Smith has mentioned that he would like to have a judging clinic, which would basically be flyer's take turn flying and practice judging.  Steve has judged locally and at several Nats.  A nice part of this is that the local contest you attend would have more judges, as well as seeing improvement in your own pattern.  So, if you are interested let me know.

James,

Have your Fun Fly the first weekend in October so you can also participate in the 5th Annual Worldwide Ringmaster Fly-A-Thon!!! All you have to do is keep track of Ringmaster flights (any variety of Ringmaster) and email the data to the "official" recording email address ringmasterflyathon-2012@yahoo.com (by 12:00 noon EDT October 9, 2012). We recorded 1505 flights last year and are shooting for over 2000 flights this year.  y1

Don't  make it on the Ringmaster Fly-A-Thon weekend as I will be in Topeka.   Count me in if the old Ford is willing. H^^

Thanks Larry, look forward to seeing you there.  I can't take credit for the judging clinic idea, that was Steve's idea.
